Tyler Skoglund
Tyler Skoglund is a graduate of Universal Technical Institute. After graduating, Tyler became a Mercedes technician and was trained by one of the top-rated technicians in the country and his now partner, Steve Hrnjak. With the training and now 11 years of experience, Tyler has become a true Mercedes specialist.
Tyler also has a love of computers and programming, from game development to electronics repair, there is nothing he can’t handle. His knowledge of computers, electronics and problem solving has come back full circle as Tyler is a self made Mercedes locksmith. From making a key from scratch to complex key issues, there is nothing Tyler won’t take head on until the problem is fixed.
His knowledge of computers comes in very handy in many Mercedes repairs, as we all know that most automobiles are now very computer centric. When Tyler is not working on Mercedes and computers, he enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and playing computer games.
Steve Hrnjak
Steve Hrnjak, is a Mercedes Master Guild Technician, which is the highest level awarded to a Mercedes technician. This award, as one of the top 40 technicians in the United States, got Steve a trip to Germany, where he visited the Mercedes-Benz factories. It takes many years of Mercedes training to reach this level, and Steve has been a Mercedes technician for over 35 years. Steve brought his skills and experience to H&S Auto Group to start a dealership alternative experience for service to Mercedes drivers all over the San Diego area.
Steve has always had a passion for cars, as he worked on and restored high performance cars, as well as his own Mercedes-AMG E55. His other passion is to help Mercedes clients get high quality service on their Mercedes at an affordable price. Previously at a Mercedes-Benz dealership in the service department where he developed his expertise, he saw the need for an affordable way for Mercedes owners to acquire the best service possible and is why he and Tyler started H&S Auto Group.
